The geospatial and surveying equipment specialist has unveiled a new 6,000 square foot depot in Huntingdon—tripling its regional footprint to better serve clients and meet surging demand. The move represents a major milestone for the firm, which has grown rapidly since launching in 2017.
The new facility replaces a smaller 2,000 sq ft base opened in 2020 and gives SEP a larger space for its hire fleet, technical support, and in-house servicing capabilities. It also brings three new roles to the region as part of the company’s continued investment in the area.
“Cambridgeshire has been a great base for us from day one,” said Drew Arscott, South East Regional Director at SEP Geospatial. Demand has grown year on year, and this move gives us the space, team, and infrastructure we need to scale up and keep service levels high.
The Huntingdon site’s strategic location and strong transport links are expected to improve SEP’s next-day delivery service—ensuring clients across the region can access critical equipment without delays.
Managing Director Oliver Brooks said the move marks a key step in the company’s national growth.
“We’re proud of how far the business has come in a short space of time. This expansion helps us better serve the South East and makes us more responsive to customers across the UK.”
