Chloe Marie Aston, famously known as the “Piano Bike Girl,” transformed an ordinary day in Cambridge into a memorable musical celebration. On Monday, August 19, the young busker from Ilfracombe parked her specially built tricycle outside Great St Mary’s church, drawing in a crowd with her unique setup—a Yamaha upright piano attached to her bike.
With energy and passion, Chloe played her piano while singing live, captivating passersby and creating an atmosphere of pure joy. Her creative performance turned heads and touched hearts, with one tourist, praising, “She had a wonderful voice and gave a unique performance.”
At just 20 years old, Chloe has already enchanted audiences in over 100 towns and cities across the country. Having begun her busking career at the age of 14, she continues to innovate and inspire. After finishing school in 2020, Chloe has honed her songwriting skills, released several tracks through a music distribution app, and is now studying a music performance course while building her presence on YouTube.
Thanking the people of Cambridge for their warm welcome, Chloe said, “Thank you Cambridge. I had a lovely day and met lots of kind people.” Her energetic and innovative approach to live music not only highlights her talent but also sets a new trend in busking.
