Cambridge’s largest flexible workspace provider, Mantle Space, has expanded its flagship location at 95 Regent Street, adding 8,000 square feet of high-spec office space in response to surging demand from the city’s innovation-driven business sector.
The expansion brings the total footprint of the Grade A building to 22,500 sq ft, housing more than 400 desks, modern meeting rooms, creative breakout areas, and a rooftop terrace with space for up to 70 guests.
Centrally located in Cambridge’s business district, the striking Portland stone building — originally built in 1974 and refurbished in 2019 — is now a key landmark in the city’s professional landscape.
“Cambridge is a key location for Mantle Space,” said Guy Baker, CEO of Mantle Space.
Since opening our first centre here in 2013, we’ve watched the city evolve into a powerhouse of innovation. The expansion of 95 Regent Street enables us to keep pace with that growth and offer businesses the flexibility and quality they need.
With four centres now operating in and around Cambridge, including Nine Hills Road and The Officers’ Mess in Duxford, Mantle Space has established itself as the region’s go-to provider for flexible, high-quality office environments.
Mantle’s reach extends even further through its partnership with Trinity College Cambridge, operating The Bradfield Centre at Cambridge Science Park – a dynamic hub supporting more than 100 companies and 600+ members working in science and technology.
Cambridge’s reputation as a global innovation capital is undisputed, with £25bn in annual turnover from knowledge-intensive firms, 26 unicorns, and 125 Nobel laureates contributing to its international acclaim.
But Mantle Space’s impact goes beyond square footage. Through its Go Meet Cambridge networking series, charitable partnerships like the Kickstart Coffee initiative, and participation in events such as the Cambridge Half Marathon and Cycling for Cambridge Cancer Help, the company has embedded itself into the cultural and social fabric of the city.
With eight centres across the South East and plans for further investment, Mantle Space remains committed to supporting Cambridge’s vibrant ecosystem of startups, scaleups and established enterprises, offering the space and community these companies need to thrive.
