One of the UK’s biggest high street banks is dishing out free money to anyone willing to switch their current account. TSB is offering £100 upfront just for making the move, plus an extra £60 in cashback for those who stick around.

But hurry—this limited-time deal is only available if you switch to a TSB Spend & Save current account before March 14, 2025. So if you’re looking for an easy way to boost your bank balance, here’s how you can bag the cash.

How to get the bonus

To qualify for the free £100, you simply need to:

  • Open a TSB Spend & Save account.
  • Complete your switch by March 14, 2025.
  • Log into the TSB Mobile Banking app.
  • Make at least five debit card payments before the deadline.

TSB will then drop the cash into your account between March 28 and April 11, 2025.

Making more, and rewards

You can also earn an extra £60 just by using your debit card. Simply make 20 debit card payments each month for the first six months, and TSB will reward you with £10 per month.

If you hit 20 payments in August 2025, you’ll get to pick a special reward from:

  • A one-night hotel stay for two.
  • Six Odeon cinema tickets.
  • A six-month Now Entertainment membership.

(There is one catch: If you’ve already received a TSB switch bonus since October 1, 2022, you won’t qualify for this new offer.)

Not just TSB offering switching bonuses

TSB isn’t the only bank giving away money to new customers. Here are some other switch deals:

  • First Direct – Get £175 when you switch to the 1st Account (must deposit £1,000 and set up two direct debits).
  • Nationwide – Offering £175 for switching to the FlexDirect account (must transfer two direct debits and deposit £1,000).
  • Santander – Switch to Santander Edge and get £150 cashback (must switch two direct debits and deposit £1,500). Plus, earn up to £20 monthly cashback on bills and shopping!
