Cambridge Broadband Networks Group (CBNG), a global leader in fixed wireless access (FWA) technology, has been selected for the Tomorrow Street Scaleup X 2025 programme – a major initiative connecting high-growth technology companies with Vodafone’s global network and Luxembourg’s innovation ecosystem.
The Scaleup X programme, run by Tomorrow Street – Vodafone’s joint venture with Luxembourg’s national incubator Technoport – identifies and supports some of the world’s most promising post-Series A scaleups. The initiative aims to help these fast-growing companies become strategic suppliers to Vodafone, create new customer propositions, and accelerate digital transformation across global markets.
As part of the 2025 intake, CBNG will work closely with Vodafone’s technology teams and business leaders in Luxembourg to explore opportunities for scaling its cutting-edge fixed wireless broadband solutions. The collaboration could pave the way for expanded global deployment of CBNG’s technology, which delivers high-speed, reliable connectivity to both businesses and consumers.
The selection is a significant milestone for CBNG, which has built a strong international reputation from its base in Cambridge — one of the UK’s leading technology and innovation hubs. The company’s expertise in fixed wireless systems enables telecom operators and network providers to deliver broadband services efficiently and at scale, particularly in areas where fibre deployment is challenging or cost-prohibitive.
